National Marketing Executive - PR.
Reports to: National Marketing Manager
Location: London

Job purpose

To play a key role in the successful development and implementation of WhizzGo’s national marketing strategy. The role will include responsibility for WhizzGo’s PR and internal communications strategy. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing local marketing plans within several WhizzGo locations. Reporting to the national marketing manager, you will be required to support and assist in national projects, often working to tight deadlines.

Key tasks

National marketing
• Key responsibility for developing and implementing WhizzGo’s PR strategy
• Day to day management of WhizzGo’s PR agency
• Responsible for developing and implementing an internal communications plan
• Working with the national marketing manager on national marketing campaigns
• Developing new marketing opportunities within areas of responsibility
• Working on ad hoc national marketing projects
• Supporting the national marketing manager as required
Local marketing
• Developing and implementing a local marketing strategy within several WhizzGo locations
• Implementing national campaigns within the local areas
• Managing local press enquiries
• Developing local partnerships
• Embedding WhizzGo at the heart of local communities
• Participation at local events
• Working closely with area managers to identify marketing opportunities
• Measuring and evaluating marketing activities

Experience and person specification
• Minimum of 2 years relevant PR and marketing experience
• First class copy writing skills
• High degree of accuracy with regards to written work
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexible and easy going with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Hardworking, self motivated and positive
• Ability to be involved in several projects at once
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines

P/T Promotional Teams - Belfast.
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to spread the news about WhizzGo around your city. We offer between 10 to 20 hours per week on a flexible basis to fit with a course, studies, another part-time job or further commitments. The work involves on-street demonstrations, events and exhibitions, with door-drop leafleting too, so the job is generally outdoors and people orientated. Uniform is provided (polo, hoodie, waterproof jacket) to help raise awareness among the community. Work generally takes place throughout the working week but we do offer some evenings and weekends.
